Meet Shelly

Hi, I'm Shelly Taft. I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a busy private practice just outside of Boston (where we know all too well that parking is an extreme sport). For the past ten years, I've been dedicated to helping families with their baby's feeding and sleep.

When I first opened my practice, I quickly realized that many families struggling with feeding issues were also facing challenges with sleep. They were frustrated by the conflicting information online and were looking for gentle sleep solutions that didn't involve letting their babies cry-it-out. I noticed that traditional sleep training methods often disrupted the breastfeeding relationship, leading to a drop in milk supply and slowed weight gain for babies, and lots of stress for the parents!

To address this, I became certified as a sleep educator and sleep coach. My goal is to help families achieve better sleep without compromising your baby's need for attachment and comfort.
